I live in Wilmore, Kentucky where I am working toward a Ph.D. in sociology. When I’m not writing or teaching, I enjoy making music, chasing after my kids on our favorite hiking trails, and taking lots and lots of pictures.
ABOUT MY PHOTOGRAPHY
Because I see the world through eyes of a sociologist, my photography is motivated by more than just beauty and technique. I want my photographs to reflect community, relationships, faith, and the whole range of emotions that come with them. Pictures are, in a way, symbols of these things that make us human. They represent the stories of our lives and reminders of what binds us together.
